History
St. Helen Catholic Church was built in 1904 by architect Raymond Charles Péré, with the permission of Abdülhamid II, in neo-Gothic style. It is Karşıyaka's first Catholic church.
Recent History
The church was restored in 1968 and suffered damage in the 2020 Samos earthquake.
