History
Kemeraltı Bazaar is a historic commercial district that has developed since the 1650s-1670s. It is home to Hisar Mosque (1592) and Kızlarağası Han (1744).
Today
The bazaar was pedestrianized in 2018 and added to the UNESCO Tentative List in 2020.
