History
İsa Bey Mosque was built in 1375 by Aydınoğlu İsa Bey, with architect Şamlı Ali (Ali al-Dimashqi). It is regarded as one of the most important works of the Anatolian Beyliks period.
Restoration
The mosque was damaged in a 16th-century earthquake and was restored and reopened for worship in 1975.
